Handcrafted pastries, the way they used to be
Every cake and pastry is made on site from fresh ingredients. Here butter is butter and egg is egg – and the puff pastry is baked on the day the cream slices are assembled.
About us, briefly
What most guests come in for
Esterházy torte
Walnut and almond meringue layers with vanilla buttercream and the classic cobweb glaze.
Blueberry cheesecake
Cream cheese filling on a crumbly biscuit base, topped with fresh blueberries.
Somlói sponge cake
Three kinds of sponge with walnut, raisin, vanilla cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
Fruit sorbet
Made from fresh fruit, without milk. The selection follows the season.
Three things we do not compromise on
Cakes for weddings, graduations and birthdays
A cake order starts with a conversation: how many guests, which flavours, whether anyone has a food sensitivity, and when it needs to be ready.
The request you send is not a binding order and involves no payment.
How it is made
What guests ask most often
How far in advance should I order a cake?
Do you have gluten-free or lactose-free products?
Can I reserve pastries in advance?
Is everything available to take away?
How should I store a cake at home?
How long does a pastry stay fresh?
Do you take larger orders for events?
Can I ask for an inscription or decoration?
What is happening
How far ahead should you order a cake?
The question we get most often. The short answer: it depends on the occasion, but always earlier than you would think.
Why a cream slice is best in the morning
Not a whim but physics: puff pastry loses its crispness within hours as it takes up moisture from the custard.
Seasonal fruit in the display case
Why we do not sell strawberry cake in December, and what goes in the case instead.
